Diving – without the baggage

Since my last post was rather morbid – let me now do a quick post and pin up about our little jaunt to the KLCC Aquaria last month – a little primary school-ly visit with Ron and a Japanese friend of his.

It was like 2 “swa-ku’s” walking around and poking and prodding at the glass enclosures…OH so that’s what a piranha looks like….OK-let me speak for myself ONLY. There was ONE swa-ku walking around….

I really wonder how popular our Aquarium is with the local Klang Valley-ites? It was recommended to me by our very own Ms Nellie Belly and she had a great time, so did we…and hopefully, our Malaysian aquarium standards didnt disappoint our Japanese friend….

A few kooky pics of animals we usually only see on TV (for the non-divers of course….)

Thats what it feels like being face to face with a giant manta ray. This ray must be of Chinese descent - check out those slanted eyes. It sure looks mad!

OK – thats all from fishy wonderland – sorry bout the bad quality pix. as u can see, the trip was rather impromptu! Didnt bring along my camera. So, admin is about RM28 for adults per pax and what I believe is a pretty reasonable rate. Also, you get a chance to actually touch the eeky skin of baby sharks and starfish! I did the baby shark but not the starfish – GELI!
