Second time for me being a bridesmaid – we sista’s (Jee Mui’s) love torturing the guys dont we? Saturday’s tea ceremony for Ian and Juliet was a blast! Some pics for details:
Guess what was the main ingredient for the 'prosperity drink' for the guys??
We wicked witches are cooking something up in our iron cauldron. Shoju not included.
The 4 bridemaids (getting ready for the arrival of the guys - but there's always time for some cam-whoring!
The boys plotting their strategy just outside Juliet's house....
The groom smiling sheepishly - he was given a task of drawing a portrait of his wife in 3 minutes. You dont wanna know the outcome but I will show you anyway!!!
Ian's masterpiece of Juliet - dont know whats with the "M" shaped hair...!!!
guess what the guys had to do next? ha ha ha...picture it! We had 5 of them pick some numbers out of a plastic cup. The lucky 5 did 5 bendy yoga poses in their suit pants!
Not too bad hey - the first up. Seemed almost too simple hey?
George got the easy peasy one....although i'm sure it doesnt exactly look right...
He also made this one look rather easy.....hmmm....maybe we should have given them head-standish ones...
Wait a minute - his knee was supposed to be bent at a 90 degree angle....okay 10 points for trying....he looked as if he was in pain already! Either that or it was because he was laughing too hard...
This poor bloke chose the 'impossible' pose - the air-split. He needed 3 mates to help him - you should have been there. It was hilarious! Another 20 points for trying...and yes, pants were intact!
After the yoga, the 5 lucky guys were exempted from the next game – which makes this one look like a teaser!
At this point, they have no idea what is about to happen to them. Who do you think got it worse? They navel licker or the one whose navel was being licked? These 3 had 3 partners. The partners were given a shot of shoju (korean rice wine) and had to then lick the salt off the navel of those lying down and then use their mouths to suck the lemon.
I wish I had taken more pics of the stunt above, but I was too busy having laugh seizures. I have them on video – will be posting up the video asap!
The lovely couple - congratulations Ian and Jules! Wishing you love and happiness in life.
The idiot which is me had forgotten her camera for the night of the wedding reception – once i get some, I’ll blog about it. For now, just a preview.
All the 'sisters' of the bride plus the groom - Squish everyone, Squish! (*the phoographer prolly meant "Squeeze" but he kept saying SQUISH!)
