What is more crippling? Emotional or physical pain? The answer seems obvious, but lets not discount totally that emotional pain can sometimes be as devastating as physical pain.

Based on some reports I have read about the Haitians, I reckon they are both feeling emotional and physical pain. While we bask in the comfort of wondering what we should eat next (spoilt by variety) the Haitians are wondering when they rations can arrive.

The worse thing is looking for your missing loved one while recovering on a make shift hospital bed after one of your limbs had to be amputated without anesthesia. Or camping in a park hip to hip with other now-homeless people who are moaning and wailing throughout the night, pining for their loved ones.

Lets take a moment from our day to remember how blessed we are and how grateful we should be to be safe, sound and not hungry.
